Dear Parents and Guardians,
Prayers and Acknowledgments
Please keep our respective students and their families in your prayers as they participated in First Holy Communion and Confirmation last week. Both services were beautiful and heart warming. Many thanks to Ms. Sandoval, CCD teachers Barbara Penner, Dan and Ayde Vogel, and to Director of Religious Education Sheree Leone, for a job well done.
We wish our fourth graders a wonderful experience at Coloma this week. Congratulations to our track team for a strong performance at the Divisional Competition last weekend. The Spirit Festival is set for Sunday, May 18, at Chabot College in Hayward. Competition begins at 10:00 a.m. Let’s give our student-athletes a strong showing of support! The Festival marks a culmination of hard work and commitment by Coach Cappel and his staff, as well as our competitors. Go Knights!
Thank you to all our parents and staff, who contributed to Sunday’s Baby Shower, sponsored by our dedicated T.E.R.E.S.A. Committee and Women’s Club. This benefited Project Warm Hug and the UCSF Neonatal Unit Intensive Care Unit.
We are grateful to all our families who have contributed to Box Tops for Education. View latest results. Mrs. Andrea Conneally, our coordinator, reports that contributions are still welcome and can be placed in the collection box in each classroom.
Service Hour Requirement
We have a few parents who still owe service hours, which must be completed by May 15. Please call Dr. Colville at school if you need to complete your service hours.
Academic News: Fourth quarter progress reports will be sent home Friday, May 9.

The School Advisory Board is an important and influential organization that works diligently on behalf of our school community.

Thank you.

Nike-Reuse-A-Shoe Project
Please consider donating used Nike or other brand athletic shoes to be used to refurbish courts in Post Katrina New Orleans. Requirements: the shoes must have laces; shoes may be any name brand, no shoes with metal, and no cleats. Shoes may be any shape or size. In today’s Living Faith reflection, we are reminded parenting is Not for the Fainthearted and for the constant need to pray. We are still tabulating the final numbers on our recent International Food Festival and will have it in next week’s Wednesday Communication. Thanks for all you do!
Please check the Wednesday
Communication web page for the complete list of important forms and fliers for this week.
Sincerely
in Christ,
Dr.
